Creative Assembly has been on a roll this week! We’ve already written about the new Charlemagne DLC for Total War: Attila, but it seems that Creative Assembly really wanted to leave an impression this week with a new In-Engine Cinematic Trailer for the 2016 release of Total War: Warhammer, featuring Grimgor Ironhide.
Grimgor Ironhide is the leader of the Greenskins, a “race” comprised of various Orcs and Goblins. He is a fierce and bloodthirsty Black Orc whose thirst for war leads him to cause havoc (pun intended) in his own camps if he doesn’t have anyone else to fight.
In this trailer (1080p 60fps by the way), we get to see for the first time, a little bit of the campaign map! We get to see the wide range of terrain and climates, and how unique the armies will look while on the move.
We also get just a couple of snippets of battles, which both look stunning and very immersive.
Overall, I’m still completely pumped for this game. This is taking Creative Assembly into an entirely different realm of gameplay and everything I have seen thus far has NOT disappointed me in the least.
Total War: Warhammer releases April 28th, 2016 and is available for pre-order via Steam. Stay tuned for updates in the future!
